Yves Morin

Yves Morin was a French alpinist. He was the first to ski off the top of Annapurna I in 1979, which is one of the "eight-thousander" mountains in the Himalayas in Nepal. Over the course of the 1979 expedition he skied all segments of the descent, but eventually died while descending from the summit on a very steep ice section around 22,300 feet. ...
