Wild Bill Cummings

Wild Bill Cummings. Self: Throttle Pushers. "Wild Bill" Cummings was born on November 11, 1906, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He raced in several Indianapolis 500 races (from 1930-1938), winning the race in 1934 at a record speed of 104.6mph. Cummings died on Feb. 8,1939 as the result of a car crash in south Indianapolis.
