Tanya Champoux(I)

Tanya Champoux is best known for her roles working with Jennifer Connelly and Jaden Smith on The Day The Earth Stood Still (2008), playing a petrified woman in Season 4 of Van Helsing (EP 409) and for her recurring role as Kiki the Waitress in the Ruby Herring Mysteries series (2019). The bilingual actress (French/English) was born in Montreal, Canada and then later moved to Vancouver at 10yrs old. She first discovered her love for acting while regularly attending theatre with her mom as a young girl. It was Tanya's Nana though, a working actress herself, who posed as the initial strong role model in Tanya's now lifelong pursuit of acting.Tanya's second love of fitness and athletics had her training extensively to become a competitive swimmer for the better part of her youth. She went on to get her Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of British Columbia where she later became a very successful personal trainer. In her free time, Tanya loves to be outdoors skiing, hiking, and enjoying nature.Tanya is a business owner, co-owning one location of the rather popular plant based restaurant, Buddha-Full (Northwoods), located in North Vancouver, Canada.
