Robert P. Marcucci(1930-2011)

Bob Marcucci started in the record business in 1955 as a songwriter. He then launched Chancellor Records, and discovered Frankie Avalon and Fabian. Taylor Hackford's The Idolmaker (1980) is based on Marcucci's life during the Avalon/Fabian years. He is still active in developing new ideas and producing projects.
