
Lia Frankland
Lia Frankland has emerged as one of the most compelling young talents in the entertainment industry, known for the emotional depth and authenticity she brings to every role. She will soon appear in the highly anticipated Camp Rock 3, slated for release in August 2026.Lia made her feature film debut opposite Oscar winner Charlize Theron in the acclaimed Focus Features film Tully, earning both a Joey Award (Canada, 2018) and a Young Entertainer Award (US, 2019) for her performance as Sarah. She later joined the Disney+ series The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers as hockey podcaster Mary Joe, and has appeared in several Netflix projects, including The Baby-Sitters Club, Maid, and Devil in Ohio.Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Lia began her artistic journey at four years old through vocal lessons and musical theatre. By six, she was enrolled in acting classes, where her coach quickly recognized her natural talent. With her parents’ support, she was introduced to top Canadian agents and signed within a week.Her first film role came as Avery, a bullied outsider in the Lifetime movie Betting on the Bride, which earned her a 2017 Joey Award for Best Principal or Supporting Actress in a TV Movie (age 9-18). On television, she made her debut as Francie, an asthmatic young camper, in Freeform’s supernatural series Dead of Summer.Outside of acting, Lia is a passionate musician and performer. She plays piano and guitar, dances, sings, and writes her own music. She is also multilingual, speaking English, Spanish, French, and Greek.
