José Salof is a Mexican actor, writer, and director working in film and television for both Mexican and international markets. He is known for his work in La Raya (2024), the international series ZeroZeroZero (2019-2020), and the Netflix drama Yankee (2019).His screen career includes lead and supporting roles across feature films, television series, and short films, with a focus on character-driven narratives. Recent projects include Autos, Mota y Rocanrol (2025) and Apenas Primavera (2025).In addition to acting, Salof develops original projects as a writer and director. His short films Vapor (2021) and Inefable (2022), which he wrote and directed, reflect his interest in narrative authorship and independent filmmaking.In 2025, Salof co-created and starred in the miniseries Amor de Papel, a queer-themed project that premiered at the Guadalajara International Film Festival and later launched on YouTube.
