E.J. Peaker(1944-2026)

E.J. (short for Edra Jean) portrayed the role of Minnie Fay in the motion picture Hello, Dolly! (1969). Originally from Oklahoma, E.J. had numerous experience in high school plays, and studied drama at the University of New Mexico as well as experiencing Drama training in Vienna. She appeared on Broadway in "Bye Bye Birdie". She made over fifty-two television commercials and starred with Robert Morse in a musical series, That's Life (1968).After the picture, E.J. went on to work on Broadway and to appear in various films. She became a producer. She lived with her second husband and their son in Los Angeles. After her husband's death, she remarried and relocated to Nevada, where she died of Alzheimer's disease in 2026, aged 82. She was survived by her son and her widower.
