Betty Dotson left Clarksburg, where she was born, to become an artist.When her father moved to Gresham, near Portland, she went there and did ranching with him for a while.She went to San Francisco, where she worked as as a model for John Garth.After that she became a "Goldwyn girl" in the Eddie Cantor-film "Kid Millions".
