Hailing from Bomdilla, Arunachal Pradesh, She is also the first woman in the world to scale the mighty Mount Everest twice in one season within 10 days. A documentary ANSHU -Everest Calling has been screened in 12th edition of ADDA Short Film Festival was organised in Guwahati on December 10 and 11, 2016.She is a mother of two children.
