Valeriia Karaman is a Ukrainian actress, filmmaker, and director based in London. Originally born in Moldova and raised in Ukraine, her work focuses on psychologically charged cinema exploring folklore, memory, desire, and transformation.She made her screen debut in The Lighthouse by Robert Eggers, appearing alongside Robert Pattinson and Willem Dafoe.Alongside acting, Karaman develops her own film projects as a writer and director, with a strong focus on psychological horror, Eastern European folklore, and myth-driven storytelling.
