Shannon Taing was born in Reno, Nevada and is a graduate of the prestigious American Conservatory Theater, San Francisco, in which she received her MFA in acting. She also holds an Advanced Harold Certificate from the UCB Theater where she studied improv. She performs with the UCB house sketch team Neighbor Boy.
