Winters received her BA in English and Comparative Literature Studies at Occidental College, going on to study at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts the following year. While working towards her degrees, she has interned at various production companies, including Millennium Films. Her prolific experience spans work as a PA, directing, script screening, and writing.
