Cancer, poly linguistic in nature, and as ancient as the term karkinos, is the subject of a 1983 neological term which defines a fairly new discipline: paleo-oncology (Johnson, 2013). While the origin of human coding has long been established, the pathways of molecular mechanisms are still a challenge in scientific exploration.
