Michael Haley. Director: The Blue Chequered Harlequin. Michael Francis Haley grew up in Manassas, VA. His father (John) was a pharmacist. His mother (Matilda) worked different jobs while raising him and his brother (Sean), including secretary, and sales associate for women's clothing. His father died soon after suffering a stroke, and his mother and brother both died of cancer. Michael began playing the violin at Sudley Elementary School in Manassas, Virginia....
