Rise and Shine! Popular morning news talent Julie Chang woke up New Yorkers and Angelenos with her effervescent charm for 17 years. But after battling brain tumor and Covid times with two small kids, she knew that her body and soul needed to leave the 3AM call time for her deepest calling: acting. Julie most recently starred opposite Elisabeth Moss and Kate Hudson in the sci-fi thriller, "Shell". Julie also landed her first minor leading role in the horror, "The Hermit". She also was featured in, "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom."When Julie isn't on set...you can find her surfing waves in Venice, Santa Monica and Malibu. The staunch environmental activist resides in Los Angeles with her hometown sweetheart and two sandy-toed kiddos.
