Josh Powell. Director: Bottled Up. Josh Powell was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia and raised in Apex, North Carolina. Josh earned a BA in Film Studies at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, then went on to attend Vermont College of Fine Arts' MFA in Film program. Josh's graduate thesis script "Sunshine Torpedoes" was a 2017 Nichol semifinalist.
