Joseph Mangine was the Director of Photography for Lords of Flatbush, the movie which introduced Sylvester Stalone and Henry Winkler. He was also the DOP for "The Sword and Sorcerer," a film that, though was not a box-office hit, inspired a genre named after the "Sword and Sorcerer" title. A stunt parachute specialist turned photographer, he began his career shooting surfing and adventure documentaries.
