Ilse Salas is a Mexican stage and screen actress who began studying acting at Foro Teatro Contemporáneo in Mexico City in 2001. Her first job in the industry was on Channel 11, soon followed by theatre and films. In one of her first efforts on film she played Inma in a dysfunctional family in the short drama "Sirenas de fondo" (2007) directed by Arcadi Palerm-Artis. After this she appeared in several TV-series till she made her artistic breakthrough in Alonso Ruizpalacios "Güeros" (2014). Ilse Salas has carried some of the iconic leading roles within the theater as Medea and Sally Bowles.
