
Harry DeCosta(1885-1964)
Composer, songwriter (Hold That Tiger"), author and pianist who accompanied Jones & Hare, and a writer of special material for vaudeville. He was a pianist for music publishers and a radio script writer and composer. Joining ASCAP in 1925, his other popular-song compositions include "Little Gray Mother", "Ragamuffin Romeo", "That Soothing Serenade", "Slappin' the Bass", "Mary Dear", "Love Me a Little Little", "My Mammy Knows", and "Love Made a Gypsy Out of Me".
