Don Brash. Self: The Hollow Men. Don Brash is a New Zealand politician. Born Donald Thomas Brash, he was Governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand from 1988 to 2002. He was leader of the National Party from 2003 to 2006 and leader of the ACT Party in 2011. As leader of the opposition he campaigned for Prime Minister in the 2005 election.
