From Central Park under the direction of Milos Forman to award-winning Off-Off-Broadway performances, Deirdree Wallace’s career bridges the heart of New York theatre and Australian screen. An Australian award-winning actress, Wallace trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, where she completed three years of study and earned her BA in Theatre after being granted a scholarship to the Academy. Her early New York theatre work included a celebrated performance in The Cherry Orchard, for which she received a Chekhov Off-Off-Broadway Award. She also appeared in Hair, directed by Milos Forman and shot in Central Park, an experience that helped launch her professional career. Returning to Australia, Wallace built a diverse screen career with roles in Home and Away, Six Pack, and Family Law, among many others. Most recently, she wrapped filming on Runner alongside Alan Ritchson, scheduled for release in 2026.
