Christopher Chittell

Christopher had intended to join the navy, but, at fifteen, he was spotted by an agent and became a member of the National Theatre. He was then cast in the film To Sir With Love, but he was soon caught driving while disqualified, which resulted in him being banned for 3 and a 1/2 years. He did not drive again for two years. While working on location on the film Zulu Dawn, he met Caroline, who was an extra, and they got married. On returning to England, they ran a shop in Devon for a while before he returned to the stage in Peter O'Toole's Macbeth. Afterwards, he was offered six weeks on the television serial Emmerdale where he's been ever since. Living in Nottinghamshire, he has a son, Ben, born in 1982 and a daughter, Rebecca, born in 1984.
