Charlie Matz. Producer: The Old Man and the Ceiling. Charlie Matz grew up in Northern Michigan. He attended Hope College and graduated with a Psychology degree. After Hope, he attended Compass Academy (Grand Rapids, Michigan), where he fell in love with filmmaking and the art of telling good stories.
