He joined ASCAP in 1951 and his musical collaborators included Milton Berle, Victor Young, Heywood Kling, Larry Gelbart, Jack Gould and Jay Burton. His songwriting credits include: "It Only Takes a Moment"; "Lucky Lucky Lucky Me"; "Summer Love"; "Wall Flowers"; and "If I Knew You were There".
