He is Actively Involves in Theatre and Film as an Actor,Writer & Director. National School of Drama (NSD), where he studied and, now, teaches.He received Manohar Singh Smriti Puraskar. He has appeared on stage, famously as Jawharlal Nehru in Azad Maulana, and directed plays for the NSD students. But, his writings are better known.
