Director, writer, and producer with extensive experience in creating cinematic narratives in fiction, documentary, music videos, and advertising. He has been a Fulbright, FONCA, and Rockefeller Foundation fellow. He studied design at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and earned a Master's degree in Film and Video from The American University in Washington, D.C., and The Anthropology Film Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His documentaries and short films have been showcased in festivals, museums, and galleries around the world. His work is characterized by a sensitive yet metaphorical approach to social and cultural issues. Violent Butterflies is his first feature film, produced through EFICINE, FOCINE, and PROCINE.
