Timbuk 3. Soundtrack: Tommy Boy. Timbuk 3 was an alternative folk, pop, and rock music outfit consisting of the husband and wife duo of Pat MacDonald and Barbara MacDonald. Pat and Barbara first met each other in Madison, Wisconsin. They formed the duo Timbuk 3 and moved to Austin, Texas. Timbuk 3 signed up with the label I.R.S.
