Joseph Zucchero(I)

Joseph (Joe) Zucchero graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) film school. He began his career in the film industry in 1963, taking on various minor capacities in film and television productions, including some in the Philippines. In 1967, he sold his first screenplay. While working on the Ferdinand Marcos biopic Maharlika (1970), he decided to settle permanently in the Philippines. There, he contributed to numerous international productions filmed in the country and forged a decades-long friendship with influential producer/director Cirio H. Santiago. Zucchero primarily focused on writing and doctoring scripts provided by Roger Corman's production company, while also editing and overseeing post-production. Additionally, he sometimes served as a dialogue coach and took on supporting roles in numerous films. He returned to the United States in 2007.
