Gwyneth Powell(1946-2022)

She was educated at Cheadle County Grammar School for Girls. During her time there, she appeared in the National Youth Theatre's production of Ben Johnson's 'Bartholomew Fair', gaining acclaim for her role as Ursula. She then trained to be a teacher at Goldsmiths University in London, but eventually returned to acting in repertory.
