Giannis Fyrios was a Greek actor whose career spanned theatre, film, and television. He trained at the Dionysis Devaris Drama School and made his stage debut in 1937 with the troupe of Io Palaiologou and Spyros Patrikios, appearing in cinema in 1952 in Stelios Tatasopoulos' Black Soil (1952). Fyrios became known for his work in television series, often portraying elder or patriarchal figures. He appeared in numerous films and theatrical productions over decades, earning recognition for his comic timing and dramatic range. Fyrios was married to actress Pola Fyriou and had one son.
