He graduated from Institute of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in 1950.In 1952, he plays first role in the movie Mitrea Cocor. Other notable roles in films :Sageata capitanului Ion (1973), Nemuritorii (1974) and Cu mâinile curate (1972).
