Geo Corvera

Veteran Fight Choreographer, Stunt coordinator, action designer, and stuntman Geo Corvera discovered his undeniable passion and naturally gifted ability for martial arts at an early age. As a child, Geo and his family moved from San Miguel El Salvador to the United States (in the Metropolitan DC area of Virginia) where Geo traveled the competition circuit, establishing himself as a force in his discipline, and earning a "top ten" rating by the North American Sport Karate Association (NASKA) and the National Black Belt League (NBL) in forms, weapons and sparring divisions.In 2000, Geo moved to Hollywood where he began what would be a rewarding career in television, film and streaming programming, further cultivating his martial arts foundation as a Third Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do as well as Capoeira and gymnastics.To date, Geo has appeared in over 170 productions, including performances for Marvel and DC Comics, and a litany of popular series and television shows which earned him countless recognition's. Some such accreditation's include a Screen Actors Guild Award for outstanding performances in both Iron Man (2009) and the Pirates of the Caribbean at World's End (2008). He was nominated by MTV and the Taurus Awards for Best Fight in the Rundown (2004).In addition to action, Geo Corvera has flexed his theatrical muscle as an actor in Cobra Kai, The Vigilante, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Marvel), Hood Rats, Harsh Times (with Christian Bale), Kickin it (Disney), The District (CBS), and others. His well-rounded experience in filmmaking and long list of skills ( car hits, fire burns, high falls, stair falls, wire gags, driving, boxing, martial arts and gymnastics) offer Geo Corvera a well-rounded perspective of the filmmaking process, lending to his abilities as a stunt choreographer and coordinator, now creating, directing and producing his own projects.In his downtime, you can find Geo at the gym or training/ teaching others in reputable training centers on both coasts of the US.(Biography by CatarACT, Inc.)
