Augusto Schillaci

Augusto Schillaci is an Argentinian director, writer, and senior VFX supervisor with over 30 years in animated movies and live-action visual effects. He has collaborated with major studios such as DreamWorks, Sony, Warner Bros., Disney, Fox, and Paramount Pictures.Schillaci has directed multiple projects, including the inaugural animated short films from the Best Fiends mobile game franchise with a combined 30 million YouTube views, animated commercial spots for LEGO Batman and Chevrolet, and game cinematics for Transformers and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. His award-winning short, La Calesita, has been selected in 43 countries and won 14 awards, including the Special Jury Prize at the Annecy Film Festival.As Senior Visual Effects Supervisor, he has worked on Book of Life and Free Birds, which he also art-directed, and contributed to projects such as Looney Tunes shorts, Open Season 2 and Open Season 3, and Disney's Enchanted.
