William Sullivan

William Sullivan. Self: Vietnam: A Television History. William Healy Sullivan was an American diplomat best known for serving as the U.S. Ambassador to Iran from 1977-1979 during the Iranian uprising of 1979. He also served as Ambassador to Laos from 1964-1969, the Philippines from 1973-1977. He is also known for overseeing the "secret war" in Laos, and later on helped to negotiate the end of U.S. military invasion of Vietnam....
