Tara Motamedi

Tara Motamedi. Director: Before Dawn, Kabul Time. Tara Motamedi (Tara Atashgah) is a Middle Eastern writer and director. She's been awarded by the DGA as Best Female Director for her Iranian short film, For The Birds. For her Israeli-Palestinian feature screenplay, Under an Olive Tree, Tara was honored by the WGA and became a semi-finalist at the Academy Nicholl Fellowship in 2019.
