During his early youth, Sprott frequented film sets like Frasier (1993), HBO's Carnivàle (2003), and American Wedding (2003). He began writing screenplays at 13, directed some short films and a one-act play at the local college before graduating high school to attend USC Film. He writes comedies and thrillers
