She started at theaters, when the great director Carlos Manga noticed her talent. Her debut was 'Garotas e Samba', directed by Manga in 1957. She then became Manga's favorite star, while she acted with Oscarito in many movies. Then, she also became famous on TV, with the character Ofelia, a stupid housewife, with Lúcio Mauro.
