Shauna graduated high school in 1977. She grew up in Fullerton, CA. She attended Fullerton High School and graduated with top honors. After high school, Shauna was forced into the porn industry by an abusive ex-boyfriend who drugged her. Shauna escaped the pornography business in 2002, when her ex-boyfriend was arrested.
