Merlin Ward
Merlin Ward first trod the boards on the West End stage aged sixteen in Alan Bennett's hit play, 'Forty Years On' and continued to work for the next eighteen years in theatre, TV and film. Following a trip to Los Angeles, Ward came up with a film idea and sent it to a well-known producer/director who took out an option to buy it. This early success led to scripts being optioned or commissioned by producers in the UK, Ireland and Hollywood. Despite success as a writer, Ward was determined to produce his own movie and wrote, co-produced and directed 'Out of Bounds'. His stage play, 'The Widow' has been produced in the UK, Ireland and Texas.
