Natasha Lucia Rea

Natasha Lucia Rea (born 17 January 1989) is a British actress, writer, and mental health advocate of Italian and Polish descent. Raised in Manchester, she began acting professionally as a teenager, training under David Johnson, founder of Oldham Theatre Workshop. Her television credits include Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Doctors, Ashes to Ashes, and Jimmy McGovern's Unforgivable for the BBC.In 2020, Rea published her memoir, Me, Myself and Bipolar Brenda (The Journals of a Happy Soul With a Chaotic Mind), which chronicles her experiences living with bipolar disorder. The book later inspired her one-woman stage show, A Night with Me, Myself and Bipolar Brenda, which premiered at Manchester's Hope Mill Theatre before touring the UK.The success of the memoir and stage adaptation brought Rea's work to the attention of established producers and production companies, leading to the development of new projects across television and theatre.Alongside her creative work, Rea is a passionate mental health advocate. She serves as an Ambassador and Commissioner for Bipolar UK and founded the #SpeakOutLikeBrenda campaign, encouraging people to explore healing through creative journaling and open conversation.
