Matilde Revenga

Matilde Revenga was a soprano born in Valencia on Nov. 4th. 1904. She started singing in family and social meetings, and was encouraged to follow an operatic career. At 16 she moved to Madrid where she took voice lessons with Ignacio Tabuyo, and finally debuted at 18 at the Teatro Real with Lohengrin. When the Real closed she moved to the Apolo. ...
