Malachi Whitten. Director: Kingdom of Bliss. Malachi Whitten was raised in Portland, Maine and began making films at the age of 15. He became fascinated with films circling themes of surrealism and psychological horror. His first job was at a local movie theater where he would spend most of his teenage years watching and studying the films as they'd be released.
