Joshwa Walton

Joshwa is an Atlanta-based filmmaker who was born in the American Midwest and raised all over the tropics. He first pursued a degree in medicine before pivoting to literature and film.After graduating with the 30th MFA production class from Florida State's Film Conservatory, he now works primarily in visual effects. He is known for his work on: Netflix's Stranger Things (2016) Season 4, HBO's The Staircase (2022), and Showtime's The First Lady (2022).At home, Joshwa continues to follow his passion of writing for the screen.
