Jorge Rubiera

Jorge Rubiera. Editor: Birdwatchers. Jorge Rubiera is a Cuban-American filmmaker. Rubiera initially got his start as a musician, recording and touring with the bands Animal Tropical, Down Home Southernaires, Pygmy, Awesome New Republic and Plains. After studying photography and screenwriting, and a brief stint at art school, he returned home to produce his first feature, Meniscus.
