Johnny Dowers

John Wayne "Johnny" Dowers is an American actor, writer, director, humorist and musician. Best known for his role as Detective Tim Cooper on FX's Peabody award-winning drama, The Bridge, Johnny also co-wrote and starred in the 2010 indie comedy Pickin' & Grinnin'. He appeared in the FX comedy series Anger Management as Ray James II, a pimp in Charlie's therapy group, and had roles in network series The Middle, Come to Papa, and Good Christian Belles. Johnny’s a true storyteller who loves crafting unique characters on stage, screen and in song. He’s performed world renowned venues like the Ryman Auditorium, The Paramount Theater, and The Bluebird Cafe.
