Jeremy Ray Smolik

Jeremy Ray Smolik is an actor, director, and editor based in Los Angeles, CA. During his first decade in the industry he completed over 300 projects, filming and editing for dozens of clients including Disney, Warner Bros, Sony, P&G, Apple, Beats, Hearst, Google, UMG and many others, interviewing dozens of celebrities for press events, red carpets, and crafting branded content while on staff at the production company Waterproof Pictures. In 2017 he transitioned into freelance work, going from story producer at Buzzfeed, to directing short films, to spending many years editing & developing content with Conde Nast. Most notably, he has taken a hand-on approach with many brands, helping them re-establish their voice through new series he helped develop, breaking brand records, and securing their first Webby nominations, eventually leading to his first Webby win on a project with Google and Selma Blair. In 2026 he launched an innovative freelancer-forward production company Rabid Artists LLC with multiple original IPs already in development.
