Chris Carson Emmons. Writer: Two Cents from a Pariah. Chris Carson Emmons grew up in Milwaukee, where he had a great interest in filmmaking. He earned his BFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he studied screenwriting and directing. Emmons' directorial efforts "Roebling's Bridge," "New Skin," "Prone," "The Survivor," and "Surrender" have all garnered accolades on the film festival circuit.
