Chris Birkmeier

Chris Birkmeier. Writer: U.S.A.. Chris Birkmeier is a Michigan-born indie filmmaker. He writes personal stories which often feature LGBTQ themes based on his own experiences. He's directed a feature film, several award-winning shorts, music videos, and commercials. His work has been featured by NPR, MTV, Rolling Stone, Queerty, and the Chicago Sun-Times. He's lived in Chicago, Seattle, LA, and Grand Rapids, Michigan.
