Chad Allen Barton is a filmmaker, director, and producer based in Memphis, Tennessee. He has been making films since 2010, directing independent features and short films including Lights Camera Bullshit, Hirsch, It's Me, Cranefly, Follower, and How Deep Is Your Love.Barton is also a Producer at The Library Channel at Memphis Public Libraries, where he has created several original series. His work includes the children's series StoryTime, the live music series From the Bookstore, the documentary series A Few of My Favorite Things, and the unscripted series Repair Café. He also produces and directs episodes of Memphis Makers, a documentary series highlighting Memphis organizations and the people behind them.His work spans narrative filmmaking, documentary, music, children's programming, and unscripted television. Barton continues to make independent films in Memphis, frequently collaborating with his son, Mason Fox Barton.
