Broadus Mattison

Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Broadus is a U.S. Navy veteran, having served as a division officer aboard the USS Nimitz (CVN-68), and worked briefly as a police officer with the Baltimore Police Department. A chance encounter in Seattle led him to an audition for the role of Aaron in the Balagan Theatre production of Titus Andronicus. His true passion was found and he never looked back. "I enjoy enjoy portraying men of strong purpose and character, level-headed, and open-hearted; much like my father, brother, and the other men I grew up around. I want to honor them through my work." For Broadus, acting isn't just a job - it's a way to explore the messy, beautiful, and endlessly fascinating human experience. Whether on screen or stage, he seeks to tell stories that spark wonder, connection, and maybe even a little amazement.
